Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International Airport or railway station, and our driver will be waiting to welcome you. Ride into a comfortable car and get transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or your own activities. Overnight stay will be arranged in your hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: City Tour of Delhi
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel before starting a full-day sightseeing tour to Delhi. Start with Old Delhi where there are some majestic historical monuments are waiting for you.
Our first destination is Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Spend some time at this place to fill your heart with peace and tranquility.
Next visit Red Fort or Lal Quila, a massive fort built during the Mughal Empire. Sometimes remained the capital of the Mughal Dynasty, the fort today serves as powerhouse of Indian Governance. The Prime Minister of India addresses the country from Red Fort on the eve of the Independence Day of India.
Qutab Minar, the tallest minaret in India is architectural wonder and represents the rich history of Delhi. Next destination is Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. It is not only the most prominent pilgrim place for Muslims but also an architectural wonder. The mosque is large enough to accommodate 2.5 lakh pilgrims at a time.
Chandni Chowk, an old marketplace is the perfect place for shopaholics. In the market, you will find everything at bargain price. Don't forget to enjoy delicious street food in the streets of Chandni Chowk.
Later, drive towards New Delhi. Pass through Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan to reach India Gate, a huge gate built to honor the armed forces of India. India Gate is also a great picnic spot where you may spend some time enjoying delicious street foods in the gardens.
Other worth-visiting destinations in New Delhi are Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and Akshardham Temple. Visit these places before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi to Jaipur
This morning, enjoy a heartily breakfast and then check out from your hotel. Drive towards Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Upon arrival to Jaipur, check into your hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or your own activities. Overnight stay in your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur City Tour
It is well said that Rajasthan alone has more history and culture than rest of the India put together. And Jaipur contributes to a large part of this history and culture. The Pink City of India and the Venice of the East, Jaipur has a lot to offer to the tourists.
Enjoy your breakfast in your hotel and then drive towards Amber Fort, our first destination in Jaipur. The hill-top fort is located 1km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. You may ride an elephant to reach the fort. The fort showcases a traditional capital of the Rajput dynasty, with courtyards, temples, large halls, gardens and museums dotting every part of the fort.
After visiting the Amber Fort, return to Jaipur to visit Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds. It is a five-story monument built by the Rajput Rulers to provide their queens with a safe place to enjoy proceedings in the city beneath without getting spotted.
Nearby located is the City Palace, a royal museum and the residence of the royal family. The museum houses quite-a-few belongings of the erstwhile empire.
Our next destination is Jantar Mantar, a solar observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur. He was a great astronaut and built 5 such observatories across India. The Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is largest among all. It houses Sun Dial, the largest astronomical instrument in the world.
After visiting these places, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Jaipur to Agra
Enjoy your breakfast and then checkout from your hotel to drive towards Agra. Stop by Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient town built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. After ruling the empire for 15 years, the emperor and the residents had to abandon the city because a severe draught hit the town. It is believed that the souls of the draught-affected people still wander in the city, making it a Ghost Town.
Continue driving to Agra and check into your hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay in your hotel in Agra.
Day 06: Agra Sightseeing and Varanasi
Early morning leave your hotel and visit Taj Mahal, to enjoy a Sunrise View of Taj. Feel the charisma of the first rays of the Sun falling on the monument and giving it a stunning golden view. Thousands of people gather here to enjoy this breathtaking view.
Taj Mahal is the symbol of love and architectural beauty. Built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal, this monument is counted among the Seven Wonders of the World and World Heritage Sites.
After spending some time at Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Later, checkout from your hotel to visit Agra Fort, a massive fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital. The fort serves as a royal museum housing innumerable belongings of the erstwhile rulers. We will also visit Dayal Bagh, a beautiful garden where you may enjoy a short picnic.
After visiting these places, our driver will transfer you to the railway station. Catch your train for Varanasi. Overnight stay in the train.
Day 07: Varanasi City Tour
The train reaches Varanasi early in the morning. Our driver will be waiting for you at the railway station and will transfer you to your hotel. After spending some time in leisure, we will start exploring some temples in Varanasi, the City of God.
First visit Bharat Mata Temple, a temple dedicated to Mother India, the nation. Next destinations are Durga Temple (dedicated to Goddess Durga), Tulsi Manas Temple, Banaras Hindu Unversity (one of the oldest universities in India, having an art gallery), and Kashi Vishwanath Temple etc.
After visiting these temples, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08: Boat Ride & visit to Sarnath
Early morning, enjoy your breakfast in the hotel and then proceed to Ghats to enjoy a boat ride on River Ganges. Here you can enjoy boat riding on the smooth waves of the River, along with watching the Ghats and cremation site. If you prefer, you may enjoy a bath on the Ghats.
In the afternoon, drive for Sarnath, the holy Buddhist City where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his followers. There is a lot to explore in Sarnath, including the ruins, the Stupa, Buddhist Temples and museum.
Drive back to Varanasi and return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09: Varanasi to Delhi by Flight
