Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: City Tour of Delhi
This morning after breakfast first you will visit old Delhi. The Raj Ghat, Red fort & Jama Masjid are important places to visit, you may also visit Chandni Chowk, spice market etc. Later on proceed to visit the New Delhi. The Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and, newly built Akshardham temple are of much significance. By evening return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa or Shekhawati
After morning breakfast chheck out from hotel and drive to Mandawa in the heart of the semi-arid Shekhawati region. Shekhawati owes its name to Rao Shekha who ruled this area in the 14th century. The Fort of Mandawa was built in the year 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh, the founder of the town. These were the times when Mandawa was settled & fortified by the rich & dominant Silk Route merchants of the region, who constructed many Havelis (Mansions), Chhatris (Cenotaphs), Temples & Baolis (Step-wells) with ornate frescoes adorning their walls & now aptly given the epithet - Open-Air Gallery. With the migration of these merchant families, their old settlements remained in total obscurity with no one to look after them. Mandawa still retains the charm & aura of a bygone era & coming here is like stepping into a different world. On arrival to Mandawa, we visit Gulab Rai Haveli built in the year 1870 that has some of the best murals in Shekhawati on both the exterior & interior walls with elephants & camels on its façade. Goenka Double Haveli, built in the year 1890, with monumental frescoes of elephants & horses decorating its façade. Bansidhar Newatia Haveli built in the year 1921 combines traditional frescoes of horses & elephants with those depicting a young boy using a phone plus opulent touring cars & the Wright Brothers' plane. If time permits we may visit more Havelis of the region & observe the colourful village life in Rajasthan. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner
Enjoy yummy breakfast in Mandawa hotel, check-out from hotel and then leave for another attraction of Rajasthan. This desert town in the north of the state was founded in 1488 by Roa Bikaji, a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur, Jodhaji in the year 1486. Now city is dominated by Junagarh fort. On arrival check-in hotel, take rest and then leave for excursion. Visit the Junagarh Fort constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's army. Unlike other forts of state which are built on hilltops, Junagarh fort is built in desert plain. Later in the evening you would visit world's largest camel breeding farm. Have a sip of tea made of camel milk and enjoy camel ride here. Return hotel and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner – Jaisalmer
After morning breakfast in hotel drive towards Jaisalmer. On reaching Jaisalmer check in the hotel of and get freshen up. The 'Golden City' of India was founded by Maharawal Jaisal Singh. It stands on ridge of Yellow sand stone fort. Once you arrive in city check-in hotel and enjoy lunch thereafter go for excursion. Gadisisar Lake and cenotaphs of royal family at Bada Bagh will be the stoppage for the day. Return in the evening, check-out the market. Night stay in Jaisamler Hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer sightseeing
After morning breakfast, sightseeing of Jaisalmer. You will be taken to the Jaisalmer Fort, Museum, Jain Temple, Patwohki, Kothari Haveli. After lunch visit Kulcihera, Sam Sand Dunes, Camel Ride and experience the DholaMaru magic. This spot is located 42 Kms away from city and is only accessible via Jeep, 4 wheel drive SUV and camel safari. On reaching take joyride on camel. Explore the limitless horizon of Thar Desert and witness the ever changing vistas sand dunes. In the evening enjoy Rajasthani folk music and dance performance over dinner. Return hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After morning breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jodhpur, which is popularly known as 'Blue City' or 'Sun City'. This city was founded by Rao Jodha in and features several forts, palaces and temples. On arrival check-in hotel and explore the various destinations within Mehrangarh fort and pay visit to Jaswant Thada. Enjoy your shopping spree in the evening time before returning hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 08: Jodhpur – Ranakpur - Udaipur
In the morning after breakfast drive towards Udaipur. En-route visit Ranakpur, a small town famous for being housing Jain temples. After paying homage to Jain temple continue your journey to Jodhpur. On Udaipur arrival check-in hotel. The 'City of Lake' Udaipur is also locally known as Kashmir of Rajasthan. In the evening time drive pleasure in boat ride against the spectacular setting of Aravalli ranges on Lake Pichola. Have sumptuous dinner in the city and enjoy overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur Sightseeing
After enjoying yummiest breakfast in hotel go for city tour of Udaipur. Udaipur is the most romantic city in Rajasthan. With its hilltop fortresses, fairytale palaces and exotic legends and its urban and industrial centers, the city is proud of its heritage as a centre for performing arts, painting and crafts. Most of the marble palaces and fortification have now been transformed into palace hotels. Sightseeing of Udaipur include, City palace museum, Bharatiya Lok Mandal, Sahelyon Ki bari, Partap memorial and afternoon boat ride on the lake pichola to visit Jagmandir. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10: Udaipur – Ajmer - Pushkar
Post breakfast in the morning drive towards north to reach holy town of Pushkar. En-route visit Dargah Shariff of Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti thereafter continues your journey to Pushkar. Pushkar is a Hindu holy town which considered as fifth Dham and houses the only Brahma temple of the world. Brimmed with more than 400 temples, Pushkar is visited by lakhs of pilgrim travellers every year. Take bath in sacred lake and then visit Brahma temple for darshan. In the sacred town world's largest cattle fair is organized. Return hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Pushkar – Jaipur
After having yummiest breakfast in Pushkar hotel proceed for Jaipur. Pink city Jaipur was the former capital of Kachwaha Rajput and is current capital of state. Jaipur was founded by Majaraja Sawai Jai Singh II during the sixteenth century on the principle 'Vastu Shashtra'. On reaching Jaipur Check-in hotel and relax and unwind in hotel room. In the evening stroll around the street market. Return hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Jaipur Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for Beautiful Pink City - Jaipur. Proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. It's forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Proceed for sightseeing of the city. CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Its five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Visit a rug factory and see the ladies at the intricate work or a gem factory and see the gem cutting and polishing process. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 13: Jaipur - Agra
After morning breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to the Mughal city of Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra. Fatehpur Sikri was built by emperor Akbar in 1569 and is known for its towering Buland Darwaja, and many other beautiful and magnificent structures like Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal, tomb of Saint Sheikh Salim Chishti, and the Jama Masjid. Sikandara, few kilometers from Agra, is known for its famous structures and architecture particularly the mausoleum of Akbar. Akbar himself started construction of this beautiful monument. But he died before his mausoleum could be completed and his son Jehangir completed it. On arrival in Agra, check-in to hotel and after fresh n wash, we proceed to visit the monument of love, Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You will also get the taste of the traditional art and craft of Agra like the famous fine marble inlay work and other handicraft products. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 14: Agra – Delhi Departure
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Agra begins. We start with the historic Agra Fort, which houses beautiful buildings reminiscent of the Mughal Period like the Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am and Moti Masjid. Later in the day drive to Delhi and straight to the international airport to catch goodbye flight back home.
